Pop Ups No More!
So what did I do?
First, I removed the most recent HTML I have encoded in my sidebar but didn't work.
Second, I made a post asking for Help!and I found out that I'm not the only one who has the same problem.
Third, I asked help from a reliable friend, Joliber and he didn't fail me. Immediately he posted an entry about Blogger.com Malware Attacks | Move or Be Deleted in the Blogosphere. According to him, it's a serious problem that needs to be addressed that's why he searched the Internet to get at least a close hypothesis regarding the root of this trouble and fortunately, he found this post under the Log in Issues of Blogger Help Group.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fine bloggers, There has been a decent amount of chatter recently from people who are concerned about losing access to their blogs due to a malware Terms of
Service violation. While this is admittedly an imperfect system at the
moment, please understand that all of these efforts are in place with
the best of intentions. Malware is a very serious issue and our standards have to err a bit on the side of caution for the sake of securing our users and our
service. It’s nothing personal we promise.
That being said, and after putting a good amount of thought into the
issue, we think it is only fair to give everyone a chance to clean up
their blogs. So here is the plan that we have come up with:
Step 1: Locate and remove malware from your template
My guess is that many of you folks have either custom templates or
third party gadgets, and the malware is somewhere within that code
that you copy and pasted into your template. -Open up the Html editor from either the Template | Edit Html or
Layout | Edit Html tab. -Select ‘Expand Widgets Templates’ to show all of the code. -Now comes the tricky part of pulling out the nefarious code.
Oftentimes, it is located at the bottom of the page so starting from
the bottom is a good idea. Look for things like script and iframe
tags that link out to third party URLs, stat counters, as well as
third-party javascript elements. Remove these items from your template
and then make sure to save it afterwards.
Step 2: Submit your cleaned up URL into the appeal form below:
https://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?key=pZHHZdeYKeHgXlmtdMIRfbw&…
Step 3: Within 48 hours we will review your submission and, if it is
free of malware, go ahead and restore your blog. I will post a list of
restored URLs every other day at the following link: http://groups.google.com/group/blogger-help/web/restored-urls-from-ma…
This list is also located within the ‘Resources’ Section of the
Blogger Help Group. If you do not see your link after 48 hours, then you can assume that
the malware was not removed. You may then repeat the process and re-
submit, if you wish. Thanks for hanging in there everyone, -Gatsby
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I did these steps and found no scripts nor iframe in my template so that means it's not the cause of my pop ups. Joliber again informed me that there were reports that it is caused by rank widgets. So I tried to delete it and the pop ups indeed disappeared. I have submitted my URL and has been restored and verified as free of malware. I am now sharing with you this information because I know some of you are also having this problem. I hope this will help you.
***Some reports also says that 3rd party widgets like site counters, traffic feeds and popular pages may cause unwanted pop ups.

One day isang araw ni Inday
------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was jazz an ordinary day.
The skies were clear, the birds were chipping.
Grabe, andaming fans,
pull-packed talaga! Dahil fans nya rin ako, nakipila rin ako.
Then suddenly, out of the loo, may bumulong sa akin ng: "Indaaaayyyy. ....."
Huh? It sounded like a familiar sound. Who can it be now?
"Dodong!" sigaw ko.
Napalakas yata voice ko. Kasi the other fans turned their backs to their behind at napatingin sa amin. Sabi ko "Sorry, I didn't mean to be loud and proud." Hinawakan na lang ni Dodong ang kamay ko at lumayo kami from the crowd.
"Kamusta na Inday? Do you come here open? tanong nya.
"Bihira lang, Dodong. I'm just droppings by. Ethnic and schedule ko eh" sabi ko.
Memories came flushing in my mind. How can I forget to remember Dodong? I was just starting my tour of duty kay ate noon nang unang makilala ko si Dodong. Naging kami for a while then after that were not an item
anymore.
"Tanghali na Inday. What did you say we have lunch together?" tanong ni Dodong. "I don't mine" sagot ko.
Sa restaurant, nilapitan kaagad kami ng waiter. "What's your odor sir?" sabi nung waiter kay Dodong.
"Do you have porkshop?" tanong ni Dodong.
"Yes sir" sabi nito. "Our porkshop with a resistance to the teeth of boast of our chef. Domestic careful selection of pork with little fat of female liking is used.. The exquisite cooking which repeated trial and error and was completed. it also has healthy vegetables with salad feeling fully" dagdag niya.
"And you mam?" sabay tingin naman sa akin.
Hmmm... mukhang masarap yung porkshop. Pero I'm cutting down on my carbon kaya pinigilan ko.
"I'll just have water, thanks. Liquidate diet ako eh." sagot ko.
Pagkatapos kumain, nagyaya si Dodong manood ng sine. Teka teka, this is going too far. Besides, it's a long, long way to run.
"Reality chess, Dodong. May asawa na ako, si Jay. As a mother of fact, I'm happily married" pagmamalaki ko.
"Di na pwede yung tulad ng dati. Sorry pero I didn't expect you still have more feelings than I expected. i don't want you getting the way. Past is fast. Therefore, cause and defect." dagdag ko pa.
Tumahimik sya. Parang may language barrel na namagitan sa amin. The seconds that passed seemed like fraternity. Di nagla-on, nagsalita na rin sya.
"I don't care less!" sigaw ni Dodong.
Shocks, give me a brake! To think it's his other woman that caused our separation to part.
Kinabahan na ako. I felt speedbumps all over my body and was having panic attach. Pero sumunod pa rin siya like a monkey on my butt. Hanggang sa makakita ako ng security guard. Biglang nawala si Dodong.
"Excuse me kuya, pwedeng magtanong?" sabi ko sa mamang guard.
"Of course miss, I can help you with my pleasure." sagot niya.
"Saan po ba ang exit? Could you point me to the right erection? I got lost in my eyes."
"Diretso lang." sabi niya. "Then turn right anytime with care."
"Thanks for your corporation" sabi ko.
Buti na lang nandun si kuya. Pero saglit lang, I smell something peachy. As I turned, nakita ko na namang nakasunod si Dodong! Delaying static lang pala
kanina ang pag disappear nya.
"Nyahahaha! You can run but you can hide, Inday. No matter where you go, there you are!" pananakot nya.
Oh no, is this the end? This is too much, I feel degradable. My world started falling afar.
Then suddenly, Jay come from behind! Dodong was caught to the act! In the matter of minute, it's all over. I'm out of arm's way.
"Thanks Jay, my love. But how did you?" bago pa man ako matapos, sabi niya:
"I was in the neighborhood. Fans din ako ni Angel eh. I heard you shout but at first I didn't give it a thought. Pero nang makita ko kayong magkahawak ng holding hands, then i give it a thought. I know something is a missed."
From then on, Dodong did not brother me again. In fact, he didn't even sister me. As in platonic at wala na talaga.
Lalo pa ngayon, open na kami sa isa't-isa at walang exhibitions. i feel I'm on cloud.

Help!
Can anyone help me?
Joy Ride

Palace in denial
Are the President’s men arguing reasonably?
In a radio interview of Pres. Arroyo last week, she admitted that she knew about the problem before signing the contract for the NBN-ZTE project but because of the very short notice she cannot cancel it right away. She didn't mention what the problem was and it's only when Secretary Golez made a slip of the tongue that there had been an attempted bribery. Contradicting to Ermita's previous statement that there's no problem with the project.
The insinuation that the Palace is in denial led the people to shout and fight for the truth. This is the reason why people are making noises through rallies. We want the truth and as long as the government ignores this issue, and keep those government officials involved to testify about their knowledge especially Sec. Romulo Neri, this will never be put to rest.
************
Neri holds key information on the ZTE deal because the proposals for the NBN project were reviewed by NEDA during his term. On September 5, Neri was reported to have been offered P200-million bribe to support the NBN project with ZTE.

Merong may gusto at may ayaw.
Ano nga ba ang People Power?

What Neri Is Too Afraid to Tell the Public, and Why
There was an article posted at Pinoy Press saying that J-Lo wrote an email to Vicente “Enteng” Romano III of the Black and White Movement sometime in October. It's about his knowledge regarding the NBN-ZTE Deal. The said article was entitled What Neri Is Too Afraid to Tell the Public, and Why. They claim that the statements here came from J-Lo but it has not been authenticated nor signed by him. It's up to us to judge if we believe it or not.

When and How did you know...
that you want to spend the rest of your life with your spouse? That he/she is THE ONE?
This is one interesting question asked by Mec in his blog. There's a song that says "Love Moves in Mysterious Way" and I strongly believe in that. There isn't any certain time for me to realize that I'll be marrying my husband. It just came! I'm not looking for love nor searching for a boyfriend that time. Love just came mysteriously at the least moment of expectation. We started out as friends and ended up as husband and wife. Everything happened through God's guidance and will. I believe that my husband is my God's Gift. He gave me unconditional love and happiness and spending the rest of my life with him is something I could give to show how much I love him... So the question of when and how did I know that he's the one? I don't know... It's just God's will and I'm happy.
(singing) Got to believe in magic.Tell me how two people find each other in a world that's full of strangers...

Para sa iyo...
A month ago I saw a message in my shoutbox saying he's added me to his link partners and hoping that I could link him back. I visited his website and thought that it was just a marketing blog. His blog was called Make Money Online. I never thought that I'll be visiting his blog very often until one time my friend here, idealpinkrose, asked me to vote for her on the same site. Hmmmp! the guy is hosting a competition at his blog aside from making money online hahahaha! That's interesting! From then on I often visit his site to vote for my friend and found out that he will host another competition known as Mapiles Blog Cup. Yup I'm a part of it and the man behind the controversial Blog Cup and the popular site was Joliber P. Mapiles, A 23 year old Engineer. A very young man who's making a big name in the blogosphere.
I have posted his link for the Mapiles Blog Cup here and never thought that he would feel guilty for not giving back the favor to me and because of that he gave me a link of love entitled I’m guilty beyond reasonable doubt.. . Ang sweet nya diba? hehehehe.
Anyway, he's celebrating his bday today and this post is my gift to him. I am also giving him this award
Joliber, Happy Bday and I hope you'll be more successful in all your plans and goals in life.

My LO Share
I haven't posted my LO for almost a month and I wanna make it up by posting this.
I'm fond of making scrapbook for Josh, my nephew because of his amazing smile and innocence. These pictures were taken at Pic-a-boo during his first studio pictorial. Actually these were not the actual photos, I was the one who took them using my cellphone hehehe. We didn't expect him to be cooperative at the time but when the photographer started taking shots, he gave his sweetest smile and cutest pose. He definitely enjoyed it and never complained in changing his costume for 3x. He is our little precious baby!
Credits for this LO will be given tomorrow. Promise!

Ang Prinsipyo ng 90/10
By the way, why am I saying this?
Kasi I know one person na ganyan. She's so mean... rude... and feeling perfect. I don't really like her but despite my hatred towards her I'm still trying to be nice. Sometimes i'm thinking what if I confront her pero wag na lang kasi kawawa sya kapag ginawa ko yun eh. I'm sure mapapahiya sya. How would I deal with someone like her?
Do you know the 90/10 principle?
10% of your life is made up of what happens to you
90% of your life is how you react
BUT will you just tolarate her to insult you? Of course not...
Applying the 90/10 principle...
They said we really have no control of what happens to us. Example, We can't stop the car from breaking down, we can't stop the rain, we can't stop people from making mistake, we can't stop people from making judgement. We have no control over this 10%. The 90% is different because you can determine it.
How?
By your reaction and you have contol over this.
One time I'm talking to one of our chapter head in SFC and he told me that we can't control other people but we can control ourselves, our emotions, reactions and judgements... What am I pointing here? If you are dealing with someone who's hard to deal with think of the reasons why he's acting that way and by knowing that, you'll understand him better (according to Bo Sanchez).
Now, regarding my question earlier if you'll just allow/tolerate him to insult/offend you?
I said NO, Do not allow it. Minsan kailangang batukan or sampalin ang mga taong ganyan para magising (not literally mga kapatid!!!). Syempre kung ako ang ginaganun simple lang ang mga salita ko pero i'll make sure na tatamaan sya para magising with matching SMILE... Sarcastic? Maybe sometimes you need to do that kung manhid yung tao and to let her know that she's offending you already... Proviking? I don't think so dahil naka SMILE ka naman diba? hehehehe!!! So kung magalit sya... TALO SYA!!! Pinatulan ko ba? HINDI ginising ko lang to let her know that nobody is perfect, she is not perfect and she can't cover up her flaws by other people's imperfection. Mas lalong nakikita yun kung ganun ang gagawin nya at baka mas lalo syang masaktan kapag nalaman nyang mas better yung taong pinipintasan nya kesa sa kanya. As I try to understand her more, I've found out na Insecure sya kaya sya ganun. Hindi talaga dapat patulan.I'm able to control myself kasi ganun na talaga sya eh. What I have learned from this is that I've learned to appreciate myself more and I'm so lucky I'm not like her. Thanks to her...

Babe In Total Control of Herself!!!... ADJA!!!

Buhay Amerika

STD Facts - Syphilis
What is Syphilis?
Syphilis is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) caused by the bacterium Treponema pallidum. It has often been called “the great imitator” because so many of the signs and symptoms are indistinguishable from those of other diseases.
How common is Syphilis?
In the United States, health officials reported over 32,000 cases of syphilis in 2002, including 6,862 cases of primary and secondary (P&S) syphilis. In 2002, half of all P&S syphilis cases were reported from 16 counties and 1 city; and most P&S syphilis cases occurred in persons 20 to 39 years of age. The incidence of infectious syphilis was highest in women 20 to 24 years of age and in men 35 to 39 years of age. Reported cases of congenital syphilis in newborns decreased from 2001 to 2002, with 492 new cases reported in 2001 compared to 412 cases in 2002.
Between 2001 and 2002, the number of reported P & S syphilis cases increased 12.4 percent. Rates in women continued to decrease, and overall, the rate in men was 3.5 times that in women. This, in conjunction with reports of syphilis outbreaks in men who have sex with men (MSM), suggests that rates of syphilis in MSM are increasing.
How do people get Syphilis?
Syphilis is passed from person to person through direct contact with a syphilis sore. Sores occur mainly on the external genitals, vagina, anus, or in the rectum. Sores also can occur on the lips and in the mouth. Transmission of the organism occurs during vaginal, anal, or oral sex. Pregnant women with the disease can pass it to the babies they are carrying. Syphilis cannot be spread through contact with toilet seats, doorknobs, swimming pools, hot tubs, bathtubs, shared clothing, or eating utensils.
What are the signs and sypmptoms in adults?
Many people infected with syphilis do not have any symptoms for years, yet remain at risk for late complications if they are not treated. Although transmission appears to occur from persons with sores who are in the primary or secondary stage, many of these sores are unrecognized. Thus, most transmission is from persons who are unaware of their infection.
Primary Stage
The primary stage of syphilis is usually marked by the appearance of a single sore (called a chancre), but there may be multiple sores. The time between infection with syphilis and the start of the first symptom can range from 10 to 90 days (average 21 days). The chancre is usually firm, round, small, and painless. It appears at the spot where syphilis entered the body. The chancre lasts 3 to 6 weeks, and it heals without treatment. However, if adequate treatment is not administered, the infection progresses to the secondary stage.
Secondary Stage
Skin rash and mucous membrane lesions characterize the secondary stage. This stage typically starts with the development of a rash on one or more areas of the body. The rash usually does not cause itching. Rashes associated with secondary syphilis can appear as the chancre is healing or several weeks after the chancre has healed. The characteristic rash of secondary syphilis may appear as rough, red, or reddish brown spots both on the palms of the hands and the bottoms of the feet. However, rashes with a different appearance may occur on other parts of the body, sometimes resembling rashes caused by other diseases. Sometimes rashes associated with secondary syphilis are so faint that they are not noticed. In addition to rashes, symptoms of secondary syphilis may include fever, swollen lymph glands, sore throat, patchy hair loss, headaches, weight loss, muscle aches, and fatigue. The signs and symptoms of secondary syphilis will resolve with or without treatment, but without treatment, the infection will progress to the latent and late stages of disease.
Late Stage
The latent (hidden) stage of syphilis begins when secondary symptoms disappear. Without treatment, the infected person will continue to have syphilis even though there are no signs or symptoms; infection remains in the body. In the late stages of syphilis, it may subsequently damage the internal organs, including the brain, nerves, eyes, heart, blood vessels, liver, bones, and joints. This internal damage may show up many years later. Signs and symptoms of the late stage of syphilis include difficulty coordinating muscle movements, paralysis, numbness, gradual blindness, and dementia. This damage may be serious enough to cause death.
How does syphilis affect a pregnant woman and her baby?
The syphilis bacterium can infect the baby of a woman during her pregnancy. Depending on how long a pregnant woman has been infected, she may have a high risk of having a stillbirth (a baby born dead) or of giving birth to a baby who dies shortly after birth. An infected baby may be born without signs or symptoms of disease. However, if not treated immediately, the baby may develop serious problems within a few weeks. Untreated babies may become developmentally delayed, have seizures, or die.
How is Syphilis diagnosed?
Some health care providers can diagnose syphilis by examining material from a chancre (infectious sore) using a special microscope called a dark-field microscope. If syphilis bacteria are present in the sore, they will show up when observed through the microscope.
A blood test is another way to determine whether someone has syphilis. Shortly after infection occurs, the body produces syphilis antibodies that can be detected by an accurate, safe, and inexpensive blood test. A low level of antibodies will stay in the blood for months or years even after the disease has been successfully treated. Because untreated syphilis in a pregnant woman can infect and possibly kill her developing baby, every pregnant woman should have a blood test for syphilis.
What is the link between Syphilis and HIV?
Genital sores (chancres) caused by syphilis make it easier to transmit and acquire HIV infection sexually. There is an estimated 2- to 5-fold increased risk of acquiring HIV infection when syphilis is present.
Ulcerative STDs that cause sores, ulcers, or breaks in the skin or mucous membranes, such as syphilis, disrupt barriers that provide protection against infections. The genital ulcers caused by syphilis can bleed easily, and when they come into contact with oral and rectal mucosa during sex, increase the infectiousness of and susceptibility to HIV. Having other STDs is also an important predictor for becoming HIV infected because STDs are a marker for behaviors associated with HIV transmission.
What is the treatment for Syphilis?
Syphilis is easy to cure in its early stages. A single intramuscular injection of penicillin, an antibiotic, will cure a person who has had syphilis for less than a year. Additional doses are needed to treat someone who has had syphilis for longer than a year. For people who are allergic to penicillin, other antibiotics are available to treat syphilis. There are no home remedies or over-the-counter drugs that will cure syphilis. Treatment will kill the syphilis bacterium and prevent further damage, but it will not repair damage already done.
Because effective treatment is available, it is important that persons be screened for syphilis on an on-going basis if their sexual behaviors put them at risk for STDs.
Persons who receive syphilis treatment must abstain from sexual contact with new partners until the syphilis sores are completely healed. Persons with syphilis must notify their sex partners so that they also can be tested and receive treatment if necessary.
Will syphilis recur?
Having syphilis once does not protect a person from getting it again. Following successful treatment, people can still be susceptible to re-infection. Only laboratory tests can confirm whether someone has syphilis. Because syphilis sores can be hidden in the vagina, rectum, or mouth, it may not be obvious that a sex partner has syphilis. Talking with a health care provider will help to determine the need to be re-tested for syphilis after treatment has been received.
How can syphilis be prevented?
The surest way to avoid transmission of sexually transmitted diseases, including syphilis, is to abstain from sexual contact or to be in a long-term mutually monogamous relationship with a partner who has been tested and is known to be uninfected.
Avoiding alcohol and drug use may also help prevent transmission of syphilis because these activities may lead to risky sexual behavior. It is important that sex partners talk to each other about their HIV status and history of other STDs so that preventive action can be taken.
Genital ulcer diseases, like syphilis, can occur in both male and female genital areas that are covered or protected by a latex condom, as well as in areas that are not covered. Correct and consistent use of latex condoms can reduce the risk of syphilis, as well as genital herpes and chancroid, only when the infected area or site of potential exposure is protected.
Condoms lubricated with spermicides (especially Nonoxynol-9 or N-9) are no more effective than other lubricated condoms in protecting against the transmission of STDs. Based on findings from several research studies, N-9 may itself cause genital lesions, providing a point of entry for HIV and other STDs. In June 2001, the CDC recommended that N-9 not be used as a microbicide or lubricant during anal intercourse. Transmission of a STD, including syphilis cannot be prevented by washing the genitals, urinating, and or douching after sex. Any unusual discharge, sore, or rash, particularly in the groin area, should be a signal to refrain from having sex and to see a doctor immediately.
